Collection consist chiefly of Morris's congressional office files, including campaign materials, extensive case files, congressional hearing transcripts, research notes, reports, speeches, press statements, and other records pertaining to the legislative branch of government. Water projects were a particular concern of Congressman Morris and the collection documents projects such as the Colorado River Storage Project and the Red River Water Project.
